ABSA Audit Vessel Design

ABSA will require a simple vessel be built so that they can audit your Quality Control Program.  The vessel will have to be registered and have elements that fully represent the construction techniques represented in your QC Manual.  A common vessel to build would be a small fuel gas scrubber or a shop air receiver (over one and half cubic feet), so it is classified as a vessel and not a fitting.  These vessel types could be sold or used afterwards.  Spot radiography should be also be specified on your drawing.  Once the vessel calculations and drawings are complete, they can be sent to ABSA Design Survey for registration. Once this is complete, you will be ready for your Shop Audit to begin. Blue Diamond Design specializes in the ABSA audit process.
